I'm sure many of you have visited the Blasted Lands at some point and have noticed the large dragon that always seems to sneak up behind you while you are questing/farming? Well, if you and a few of your friends are level 60, then you have found an ample source of gold.

Teremus is a weak boss dragon, it only takes 4-5 people to kill him. He has been done by 2 people before, but they were fully decked in epic gear. I have just done him for the first time today with 4 other people 5 total) and although the battle is long, he is relatively easy and simple. He drops an item: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8244, sometimes up to 4 from a single kill. Then you take that item, and turn it in to: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/mob.html?wmob=7363. He will give you a bag, and inside the bag is a random lvl 40-49 Blue or Epic BoE. That's right, a BoE, so you can sell it on the AH. Today, I got 2 crystals, so I turned both of them in and received 2 Blue BoEs, worth about 50g on my server. Like I said, they are random BoEs, so it is possible to get a weapon that would be worth much more gold, or even an epic weapon that will be worth a LOT more.

Now to explain the battle itself. You definitely need a Warrior for this battle, and I will explain why later. Teremus is immune to Silence, Stuns, Battle Shouts, DoT spells (that's right! No DoTs), some Mage spells, and I would suppose Poisons too. The only think I (the lvl 60 Warrior) was able to use on Teremus was Taunt and Sunder Armor. This battle is very long because of the fact that you can not use DoTs on him for extra DPS. In addition, every time he uses his flame attack, everyone who gets damaged by it heals Teremus, so stay out of the way of the Flame Breath! The healing he gets from this attack is substancial comparing it to the DPS you are able to use on him. Every 30 seconds or so, he will use a Knockback attack on the Warrior and his aggro list will reset, and will probably attack the nearest Mage or Warlock. Whoever gets aggro is to run towards the Tank, so he/she can use Taunt and Sunder Armor to regain aggro. After that, you just follow through the motions and whittle him down.

Suggested Group: Warrior, Mage, Hunter, Priest/Druid, Shaman/Paladin.

The reason for the supporting healer class (Paladin/Shaman) is because this battle is very long. Your Main Healer will probably run out of mana, so you need a supporting healer to step up while the Main Healer gets some mana back.

Teremus respawns daily, so you can redo him over and over for some nice loot.

Note:Teremus is also immune to all Fire and Ice spells, so Mages must use Arcane damage. Also, Starshards seems to be the only DoT that works on it.

As a warlock we found farming to be very easy but not this easy. Ok here is what you do pay a mage 4 g for food and water we normally get 90 of each. out side of Shatterath there is a lake on the left there are fish http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=18750 they drop motes of water like non other we spent about maybe 1 hour and farmed about 10 primal +1 blue and loads of greens if you are 70 this should be even more of a profit any ways the reason we recommend this spot is because we went too the elemental platue and honestly we got maybe 1 primal in a 20 minute spand if your looking for a good quick 100g too how ever long you farm there do it. The great thing about this spot as well there is a quest that you have too kill them and get some fallet so the respawn is no more than 2 mins for all of them.

Good luck with it

I will try to get a screen shot of this tonight, but I have found a way to mount on the boat, then jump onto the dock mounted and ride off.

I took the boat from the wetlands to Menethil, and I took the stupid boat that's west of Dire Maul.

Anyway…

Go up to the second floor, and walk out on the ropes towards the side you will have to get off the boat. Then walk forward, on the rope until you are on the 45 degree slanted part, that slants forward (you will now be standing at an angle down). Now click mount. Keep trying it and you will get it. In relation to the opening on the boat you walk back onto the dock, it is closer to the back of the boat (but not past the end of the opening) where you can mount. Once you are there, jump off the top, and you're set (don't just walk off).

By the time I hit 30 on my first character I had really started to enjoy the tradeskills in World of Warcraft. (...)

By the time I hit 30 on my first character I had really started to enjoy the tradeskills in World of Warcraft. It was obvious though, that each tradeskill took a considerably amount of resources to gain access to higher level recipes. The big kicker though, is it didn t require a lot of time, which is where this guide comes in.

In World of Warcraft most tradeskills require two professions, one creates items, and the other is used to gather resources for the creation of those items. So lets list out the tradeskills that are used to gather resources for their complementary tradeskills:

Herbalism (for Alchemy)
Skinning (for Leathercrafting)
Mining (for Blacksmithing & Engineering)

The only two we ve left out is Tailoring and Enchanting which do not need complementary skills, they work off drop rates and item collection. Looking at these, I came up with a plan of attack that will allow me to level all of the tradeskills at the same time and very quickly to boot.

Our strategy revolves around selecting two resource-gathering tradeskills for each of your characters you play with. As those characters progress through the game collecting resources with their tradeskills, they send the resources to the appropriate mule. At the appropriate level, each toon will untrain one of their professions and train the trade skill that their gathering skill complements. This will allow extremely rapid development of trade skilling from the resources you ve collected throughout all of your characters.

Which Gathering Tradeskills to Train

While you can choose between herbalism and skinning, you must have mining. The reason you have to choose mining is because you ll need to supply two different characters with resources and with mining, it s a pain already to get resources for mining, so you may as well make it easier on yourself and get as much of it as you possibly can on each character. Then choosing between skinning and herbalism depends on your preference. For less stress I d say skinning because you don t have to keep choosing between find minerals and find herbs as you go through your leveling process. You ll want to have all your bases covered though, so make sure you have at least 1 or 2 characters gathering herbs.

Now that you ve planned your tradeskill selection you ll need to create the characters you ll be playing and start gathering resources.

When to Untrain your Tradeskill

It all depends on your patience and your pack space. Around level 25/30 you ll start seeing problems with pack space on your mules and it may be a good indicator that you should untrain. Optimally, you shouldn t untrain until level 60. Though I don t have that kind of patience myself, but I wouldn t respect until a minimal level 20 on my toons.

The reason why you want to keep your two gathering skills as long as possible before untraining is simple, you want to gather as many resources as you possibly can before starting the complementary tradeskill. I can t tell you how easy it is to level blacksmithing once you ve obtained 500 copper ore and 300 tin ore. That s 150 smithing in an hour. Not only that, but you didn t waste any of your time gathering resources, since your alts did it while you leveled them. You didn t have to grind for ore, or hang around a mountain to farm it just to level your smithing up a few more points. You simply gathered it when it was convenient to your progression through the game. It s all based on efficiency and the value of your time.

What Tradeskills are Important?

I m not going to get into the debate about which tradeskills are more useful, that is beyond the scope of this guide. However, I will tell you which tradeskills make this system work smoother, then you ll be able to gauge what your next step will be.

Tailoring: Tailoring is probably the most useful (and the most efficient to level) out of our tradeskill selection. The reason why it is so efficient to level is that every one of your characters can gather resources for this profession without a gathering skill. Not only that, but finding cloth is so common that people don t have a problem parting with it for nothing. Around 150 Tailoring skill you ll be able to create 10 slot bags, which should be dispatched to all of your mules who are missing bags. Oh and alliance tailors have the Journeyman, Expert and Artisans located in Stormwind.

Enchanting: I like Enchanting because it brings it all together. Enchanting makes sure that there will be no wasted items once you start grinding points on your other tradeskills. Any items you produce through your tradeskills will go directly to your Enchanter for disenchanting. Likewise, any items you may find along your journey that don t sell at the Auction House should go to your Enchanter for disenchanting. While leveling multiple tradeskills at a time, you should be producing a great deal of green items which will all get recycled to boost your Enchanting skill.

Blacksmithing: For the purpose of this guide, think of Blacksmithing as a way to unload pack space, because that ore really fills your inventory/bank up quickly. You ll always end up untraining to Blacksmithing first just to alleviate all the pack space you re gonna fill up with the ore you ll collect from mining. I even went as far as making a second mule dedicated to smith stuff just to prolong my training of blacksmithing, but alas, it too filled up quickly. As you level up through the tiers of armor you ll quickly pass your own level requirement, which means you ll always have armor waiting when you level.

Alchemy: Alchemy will supply your characters with quest items and health/mana potions as they progress through the game. Since Herbs don t take up a great deal of pack space I usually just wait off when it comes to training Alchemy.

Leathercrafting: Leathercrafting is another major pack space unloader. Seeing as though leathers only stack up to 10, and hides up to 5 (most of the time) it becomes rather pack space intensive after about 25 levels. Like Blacksmithing, Leathercrafters can also benefit your alts by giving out armor when it is useful.

Engineering: Though I d pickup Smithing long before engineering, it is a great pack space unloader as well as quest item supplier for certain quests (darkshire, badlands).

So Why Do All This?

Eliminate dependency, prepare for the updates and to help bridge the higher level tradeskills. If you have 250+ on all of the trade skills in the game, you are a one man green/blue item manufacturer. You will have an ease of item creation that no other player in the game can match. You see, when you hit the 250+ recipes a great deal of the recipes require resources from other professions. High level bag creation requires leathers from skinning, high level leathercrafting requires a Salt Shaker made by Engineers, Blacksmiths require Arcanite that is purified by an Alchemist. By eliminating the middle man you eliminate dependency on other people as well as a quicker means of obtaining the resources you need.

Preparing for updates is just always a good rule of thumb in an mmorpg. Eventually they ll add hero levels and new 300+ recipes that will allow you to obtain higher level items. You can bet that these new additions will have a lot of requirements from other trade skills but given Blizzard s flare for non-cookie cutter gameplay, it may be hard to pinpoint exactly what will come. If you want to experience those new recipes and items first, I suggest you get your tradeskilling up to par and keep your ear to the ground as new updates arrive.

>>Though I am a big fan of tradeskills, not everyone may share this flare. However, a lot of players enjoy creating alternate characters and leveling them up to 30 and starting over again. You might as well play it efficiently and quickly gain resources and tradeskilling points by refining your tradeskills and untraining at a later time. Remember, you only have to be level 35 to get to 300 points on any tradeskill. Though the 225-300 range may require you to kill level 50+ mobs, you can still achieve 300 through alternate means. Just gather those resources and when you re ready to focus on your gameplay on a single character or many alternates, you ll be amazed at how much smoother the game gets when you have the best armor every level from tradeskilling.

Westfall is alliance territoy and is a bit tricky to get to as a low level horde (you should be at least level 15).

To get there take a zeplin from Undercity or Orgrimmar to Grom'gol Base Camp.

Then swim north up the coast of Straglethorn Vale, keep far away from land to avoid pulling agg.

Once in Westfall get on land (off the beach) and stealth your way further north. Just north of gold Coast Quarry on the beach cliff there is a shed and a windmill surrounded by some level 12 - 13 Defias, its an out of the way place so you shouldnt see alot of alliance there. Just keep killing them it might take awhile for a mask to drop (about half an hour to an hour).

Once you've got it just hearthstone back to town.

Doing this in the morning will help reduce your chances of running into alliance (people tend to stop playing and go to sleep around that time of day).

Hi, this is my first guide ever attempted so I'll try to do a good job. Couldnt find anything else for this area so here goes.

The area is in Azshara, I play horde Hunter and only ever saw one alliance in the 4 levels I was there. The flight path takes you to Valormak, the area I grinded was just South West of here. If you looked at it from the top it looks like a huge bowl. In that area are beasts ranging from 45 - 48 which for a Hunter are really easy to kill, also as a skinner I made 400+ Rugged leather and about 4g in gold without auctions.

The mobs are - Thunderhead Hypogryphs and Mosshoof Runners. They die pretty quick and I never died once from them, you have to watch out for the Level 53 Elite Giant that wanders the area though as he can sneak up on you when your not looking. There is a meat vendor and weaponsmith nearby (food for you and pet and repair items/ sell junk) Also with it being so close to the flight path you can get to Orgrimmar quite quickly.

I did from 46 to 50 here in 3 days ( about 36 hours playtime ) bout 9 hours or so per level so its a good area to power level. It may not be the best or anything but it worked a treat for me… Just wanted to share the area with everyone as I found it useful.

P.S Rugged armour kits go for 1.5g for 2 on my server and cost 2 Rugged Leather to make so 400+ Rugged leather = 200 Armour kits = 150g or there abouts. so its all good. =)

Hope this helps…

Soloing BRD (sorry if someone else has posted this, I have not seen it) Also, this is my first post, so it may be hard to read, just post questions and I will try and keep an eye on this to answer them.

The best run I have had I got the Fiery Enchant (35g), and the Ace of Elementals (300g+) for about 10 minutes time in the instance. Those prices are on my server.

My main is a rogue so this is written from a rogue point of view, but maybe you could do it with a druid?

Follow the steps to solo Plugger for the Barman Shanker. I am new to this site, but I sure it is posted somewhere here. If not, try www.worldofroguecraft.com it is a decent but limited site (I plan on a couple contributions to them, but posting here first for you guys)

The only variation on a Plugger (barman shanker) run is right after the Shadowforge lock. Go up the ramp and then go straight up the second ramp and cross the Ring of Law. You can pickpocket these guys for about 3-4s each if you feel like it. Free money. After crossing, go immediately to your right and see if Pyromancer Loregrain is there.

If he is, kill him. You need to kill him first, if you kill his adds and vanish, they spawn right back. I sap one, then ambush Pyromancer. I eviscerate immediately so that I don’t waste combo points. Then I blind the second add. It will depend on your set up, but I can blade flurry to do them both if I need to. I generally have to use evasion for this fight. I use Instant poison and Mind Numbing. I vanish after the boss and then the two adds are simple by themselves with a sap. I often need a single heal potion for this one.

He has been spawning pretty frequently for me (1 in 3?), and he drops the Fiery Enchant about 30% of the time. Thottbot probably says different, but those are my estimates based on my running it.

Go back through the Ring of Law and continue with the Plugger run. May as well kill him since he is easy, and then the door will open for you to get to Lord Incendius. I recommend killing the little gnomes in the room with the golems too (can't recall name of the room, manufactory?). The gnomes have been known to drop Black Diamonds.

After killing plugger, go out the door and drop down to Incendius’ level. Avoid the elementals with him.

Poisons don’t work so I use Dense Sharpening stones. I have to drink a greater fire resist potion and put on all of my fire resist gear (I am at 127fr). I am far from “epic’d out”. He kicks you, and the lava is death so line up well and go for it. I open with distract and ambush. I have to use my prep for this fight, and both evasions. I have not had to use thistle tea (I trashed the recipe, just got it back) but I am going to start using it. I also end up using my lifestone, whipper root tubers, and a heal potion. I recently added crystal restores, and night dragon’s breath so I am hoping it gets easier.

No lie…it is a tough fight. With the new items I added I think it will go easier but it can be done. The Ace is a pretty rare drop, but a damn nice prize:)

It is fun as hell and gives a nice feeling of accomplishment…and “it’s a rogue thing” which rocks.

Variations…

A short cut to Incendius does not require you to open the shadowforge lock. You jump out the window right before it, drop to the walkway, and can go straight to him.

You can also solo the rock lord in the first area. Time the dogs as they are death to stealthers. He hasn’t dropped much worthwhile for me though:(

The bad news…

Getting out alive is a PAIN, so I usually hearth from there. The damn dogs are just a nightmare on the way out.
